October 17th Autocross this Sunday

Attention members: Due to the beautiful weather that we have had this week and are expected to have this weekend, we will be autocrossing this Sunday (10/17/2010). We will be using the Hartville Marketplace parking lot. Registration will begin at noon with the event getting under way around 1:00PM. The cost is $20 for club members and $25 for non-members.  There is no fee if you just want to come watch. 

Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Coblentz family’s orphanage and relief efforts in Haiti.

Autocross Reminder and EBR Member Engagement at the Rally

The rally this weekend was a huge success with a large turnout for a really challenging rally.  It was an extra special rally since it was the first rally that EBR has had where someone got engaged.  Alex Soduk had an bonus rally question added to Meredith’s and his rally questionnaire.  It was about finding a romantic place on a walking track which Alex used to propose to Meredith at the end of the rally.

We all congratulate both Alex and Meredith on their engagement!

Don’t forget to come to the EBR Autocross this Sunday 8/29 on the parking lot at the Hartville Marketplace & Flea Market in Hartville (1289 Edison Street Northwest, Hartville).  This is a fun way to learn how to better handle your car at speeds you drive every day.  Come out to run you car or to just watch the fun.
